Iconique is an ezinethat features luxury, beauty, and other fashionable trends. The fashion magazine was founded in 1980 but the online version didn’t premier until the year 2000.
The founder and creative mind behind the magazine is Joost van Gorsel. He won the Dutch L’Oréal Marketing Awards in 2003.

Stacie McKenzie on MTVs MADE

Canada’s Next Top Model judge, Stacie McKenzie was a model coach on a recent episode of MTV’s MADE. She worked with tomboy Deanna who loved sports, playing in her band and rough-housing with the guys, but dreamed of a more feminine teenage life. Watch the clip below as Stacie works with Deanna and teaches her how to walk in heals and some other model basics.

Fashion Group Foundation Trend Report

The Fashion Group Foundation has presented either a live or audio-visual presentations covering the seasonal fashion runway shows in the United States and in Europe since Ready-to-Wear shows began in the 1960’s.

The collections are interpreted by a Fashion Group Ready-To-Wear Committee and presented in a comprehensive audio-visual presentation with over 700 industry professionals in attendance. A panel discussion may also be presented featuring the R-T-W Committee including designers, editors and retailers.

Model Alert: Stacey McKenzie

Though model Stacey McKenzie has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years, she is still making her mark in the industry. Stacey was born in Jamaica but grew up in Canada where she tried to get into the industry there. Not fairing so well, she moved to New York and was instantaneously drafted to work with such designers as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Thierry Mugler. Currently a judge on Canada’s Next Top Model and has her own company McKenzie’s Walk This Way.

Emerging Designer: Tian Justman

Atlanta designer Tian Justman, opened her fashion design studio in the Old Fourth Ward District of Atlanta in early 2008. She creates one of a kind, custom-designed pieces for Atlanta’s elite.
